This is my 3rd G3...sounds like I'm greedy huh? Taurus hit a Home Run with this line up.
G3 is a Fantastic trouble free pistol, & the price Can't be beat! It also carries well (with the right holster of course).
I'm not an EXPERT but for me it all begins with fit, in which the G3 is perfect. My opinion is "If it doesn't Fit don't Fire it."
For starters performance is easily that of a pistol in the $800-$900 range.
Texture/grip appears aggressive but feels great. The aforementioned plus memory pads minimizes muzzle rise.
Though some disagree recoil is equal to, possibly less than a Glock 19. I put over 800 rds each through my G3's with only 1 malfunction/jam.
How can you Not be impressed w/that? Sites aren't top of the line, they are however very good resulting in an accurate shooting experience.
Though 115 & 124 are my grain of choice, I've had no issues with higher. Trigger pull, take up, etc are non-issues for me.
The Taurus G3 (in my opinion) is the most well balanced, well priced, semi-auto hand gun on the market.
